The Medical
Assistant performs a wide variety of patient care activities
rendering quality patient care to patients of all ages in accordance
with standards of practice appropriate to the training and abilities
of a medical assistant.

Requirements
Minimum
Qualifications: Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training.
Completion of a medical assistant program and externship and/or
equivalent experience. Current BLS/HCP card. Must
be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion
of orientation period. One year back office medical assistant
experience in an outpatient clinic, physician�s office, or related
experience.
Preferred: Medical assistant certification. AAMA
certification.
