Only applicants that apply online via our Employment Application will be considered.Job Description:Fulfill the requirement to provide 1/2 FTE General Pediatrician Physician at standard enabling the MTF to provide such services at a high level of qualityHave minimal patient complaintsProvide services at a high level of quality at all times while working within the Department of PediatricsMaintain privileges and the required licenses or certificationComply with MTF policies regarding personal appearance and conductAbide by federal, state, and local MTF regulations and requirements concerning the nature of limited privileged communication between patients and the contract personnel as may be necessary for security and personnel reliability programsAbide by federal, state, and local MTF regulations concerning the confidentiality of patient records as embodied in federal statutes, including the Privacy Act of 1974 and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996Comply with the health and immunization requirements as stated in the TAMC Health Requirements clauseEnsure that this shared part-time position will take precedence over all other job(s) or personal responsibilities or it could adversely affect the part-time provider sharing this position and the reputation of NHVBe able to complement the other provider in the event of an emergency or unforeseen event at a momentand#39;s notice to ensure there is always an NHV employee on shiftMay be required to work evening clinic hours or weekend clinic (Saturday) on a case-by-case basis; hours are subject to change as mutually agreed between NHV and the GovernmentGain an in-depth understanding of existing programs and capabilities of NHV so that you can effectively represent the organizationEstablish yourself in the organization as a leader as well as a member of the ohana (family.)Develop a strong working relationship with other personnel within the companyAll services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession and applicable professional specialty organizations, The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JC) standards, applicable DoD and Army specific regulations, directives and policies, and military treatment facilities specific policies, procedures and job descriptions. Contract health care providers shall give the highest regard to patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for Patients. The Employee shall provide services for varied healthcare specialties in accordance with established principles and ethics of the medical profession the national standards established by the JC the professional standards at the medical treatment facility and the American Board of applicable specialty.Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.Professional Knowledge: Strong preference would be given to the contract Physician with at least three (3) years in the practice of ambulatory pediatrics after residency.
