Job Description
Our office in Honolulu Hawaii is seeking an Environmental Scientist. General tasks would include assisting upper level professionals in data collection field activities including: soil sample collection; groundwater sampling; borehole logging; and directing subcontractors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with field investigations, environmental sampling, data quality assessment, data management, and technical writing. Fieldwork will include logging soil borings, assisting with groundwater monitoring, well installation, and sampling. Technical writing assignments will include preparation of planning documents, statements of work for subcontractor procurement, and final reports. The qualified candidate must have 0-2 years experience in environmental or physical science, or environmental engineering. Experience with field investigation, environmental sampling, and technical report preparation is preferred.
Qualifications:
B.S. in Earth Science, Environmental Science, or Environmental Engineering.
