Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with company/customer system architecture standards.
1.Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and designs complex computer systems to process data.
2. Analyzes systems and procedures to refine their formulation and converts them to programmable formats.
3.Defines systems objectives and prepares system design specifications to meet requirements.
4.Writes or updates software specifications.
5.Creates logical data models based on functional requirements.
6.Performs quality assurance review of specifications for internal and external delivery.
7.Analyzes detail systems factors, including input and output requirements, information flow, hardware and software requirements, and reliability characteristics.
8.Develops analytical tools for use in the design and redesign of systems.
9.Coordinates with client to define problem, determine data availability, report requirements, and resolve system design problems.
10.Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts, and may have supervisory responsibilities.
11.May serve as a technical team or task leader.
12.Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
13.Assists the System Configuration Requirements Board (SCRB) in the preparation of agenda, slides, and attendees' package and keeping record of discussions and meeting minutes.
14.Analyze PACAF's configuration management requirements to ensure the Configuration Management Plan includes appropriate C4I and FP system hardware and software.
15.Assist in processing the operational users' change requests, problem reports, and enhancement requests; monitor and evaluate logistics support elements in planning for new C4I and FP and upgrades/modifications to existing systems.
16.Collect and analyze proposed logistics support provisions to ensure compatibility with existing logistics infrastructure and develop plans for cost effective integration; research, organize, and document logistics support information for existing and proposed systems.
17.Develop, publish, distribute, and maintain a PACAF Support Plan for C4I and FP systems; generate and publish other reports and documents such as Turnover Agreements (TOAs), Project Management Responsibility Transfers (PMRTs), Life Cycle Cost (LCC) Analyses, Logistics Support Analyses (LSA), Age Exploration Analyses (AGE), and logistic plans and agreements for PACAF C4I and FP systems; and when directed by the government, represent HQ PACAF at integrated logistics support meetings.
18.Participates in special projects as required.
Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

8-10 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience. A familiarization with the military environment is required. Must also have experience using personal computers and Commercial off-The-Shelf software, knowledge of the computer/ telecommunications environment and configuration management of same.

Candidate must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
